Our Theme for September is Stress Relief

See below what is available both with the Online and the Madison Studios.


Online Studio

All classes are recorded from the online studio and placed in the Meditation Library or as an online course at Peaceful Wellness Institute.
All times listed are in Central Time.


This month’s classes featured classes with the Online studio:

  • Mindfulness for Stress Relief held Mondays and Tuesdays starting 9/12-13 at 8:30 am CT (also as an online course) Held through end of October.
  • Meditation for Relaxation, Concentration and Mindfulness on 9/6 at 8:30 am CT

Other classes include:

  • Sundays Online Sound Bath Meditation at 9:30 am CT
  • Mondays Mindfulness meditation livestream at 12:00 pm CT
  • Tuesdays Evening Guided Meditation at 7 pm CT (various types of meditation)
  • Wednesdays and Thursdays Insight (Vipassana) Meditation at 8:30 am CT
  • Thursdays Guided Meditation at 12 pm CT (various types of meditation)
  • Fridays Meditation Circle at 8:30 am CT (not recorded except opening inspirational message)
  • Mindful Book Group starts 9/9-10 featuring Real Change by Sharon Salzberg

Madison Studio

Classes are not recorded.

This month’s featured classes with the Madison studio:

  • Learn Meditation for Stress Relief held Saturdays in September at 10:15 am
  • Mindful Chair Yoga | Joint Mobility Series held Saturdays at 9:00 am (Stress comes to us sometimes when our body hurts and it doesn’t move the way we would like it to)
  • Rest & Restore with Crystal Singing Bowls Saturday 9/10 at 3:00 pm (restorative yoga lying down on mat)
  • Autumn Equinox Sound Bath at Haumea Yoga 9/18 at 4:00 pm
  • Full Sound Bath Saturday 10/1 at 3:00 pm

Other classes include:

  • Wednesdays Rest & Restore 6:30 pm (restorative yoga lying down on mat)
  • Thursdays Relax & De-stress 6:30 pm (Alternating between guided rest (aka yoga nidra) and sound relaxation meditation)

Coming in October: Online we will still be focused on Stress Relief. At the Madison studio, we will focus on ways to “Calm Your Anxiety.”

Coming in November: For both online and at Madison studio, we’ll be looking at the theme of “Better Sleep.”

Deb Phelps

Deb Phelps is a certified Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher, and Practitioner since 1980. She is also a Mindfulness Coach, Sound Energy Practitioner, and Yoga Specialist who uniquely assists her clients to overcome stress, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and other life situations so that they can once again live purposeful, joy-filled lives. Deb has overcome significant life challenges aided by a variety of mind-body-spirit practices. By diligently using these tools over many decades, she found a life of contentment and equanimity.
