August’s Theme: What’s Your Theme?

Our theme for August is “What’s Your Theme?”

That is, “What do you keep telling yourself?” or “What do you keep reinforcing?”

In meditation terms, it is your mantra. A mantra is a phrase or statement that is repeated frequently to be reinforced or concentrated so it becomes your reality.

What do you find you repeat the most in your mind?

“I am stressed…anxious…too busy…I’ll never…I can’t…”

Time to change those thoughts!

You can change those thoughts to —“I am peaceful & relaxed!”

We are here to help you change those thoughts. Here at Meditate Madison, that is our specialization. Be it through meditation, yoga, relaxation techniques, energy healing or coaching, we will help you transform your mind, body and spirit.

Attend one of the varied classes and/or programs this month as we explore this focus of creating loving and peaceful thoughts for ourselves.

Below you will find our classes, workshops and other events for this month as well as the personal sessions available to you with Deb Phelps and Dineen Carta. Personal sessions are the way you can have meditation, yoga, healing, or coaching on your own schedule. We still have open appointments, so be sure to schedule your initial appointment today by calling 608-216-2805, Extension 10 for Deb and Extension 11 for Dineen.


Be sure to check the online calendar in case of schedule changes. Please note that there is a 2-hour registration requirement for classes. Workshops and other events may vary. Attend the sessions of interest to you. If you miss one, it will most likely be repeated in the future. The sessions are open to anyone who is interested.

Meditation with Crystal Singing Bowls & Song Healing
The beautifully, deep vibrations and tones of the crystal singing bowls will take you to a world of calm and peace. The sounds and vibrations relieve stress and bring on deep relaxation. Dineen will be providing Song Healing vocals.

Restorative Yoga
with Healing Touch Energy Healing
Breathe easily and deeply as you relax into a few therapeutic fully-supported longer-held yoga poses, mostly supine on the floor, using lots of props, (blankets, bolsters, blocks and pillows) to maximize ease and rest. This yoga style was created for those recovering from injury or surgery, PTSD, emotional traumas like grief, stress and anxiety, for example, or for those seeking a quiet meditative practice.  Dineen will provide Healing Touch Energy Healing during the session.

Deb Phelps

Deb Phelps is a certified Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher, and Practitioner since 1980. She is also a Mindfulness Coach, Sound Energy Practitioner, and Yoga Specialist who uniquely assists her clients to overcome stress, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and other life situations so that they can once again live purposeful, joy-filled lives. Deb has overcome significant life challenges aided by a variety of mind-body-spirit practices. By diligently using these tools over many decades, she found a life of contentment and equanimity.
