Free Guided Meditation Class on Saturday, February 9th

You probably have heard that meditation can help to calm you, minimize pain, relax you and benefits both your physical and mental health.

With guided meditation, you don’t need to know how to meditate. All that is required is that you listen to the facilitator and follow along with the instructions. This will have the same benefit, plus it may jump-start your own meditation practice.

On Saturday, February 9th at 10:30 am, I am offering a free session to anyone who would like to attend.

In this session I will be leading two meditations, one that you can simply enjoy and the other you can easily remember so you can try the practice at home if you so desire.

This session is part of a new series of weekly classes that are held every Saturday. morning. The classes are also held on Mondays at 7 pm and a shortened version on Sunday morning at 9:30 am.

It doesn’t matter if you are new to meditation, need support or have been meditating for some time. Our meditations in our weekly class can be one of the following: Mindfulness, breath, loving-kindness, intention or affirmation, a journey to discover the inner self or an inner spirit guide,  body scan, walking meditation on our portable labyrinth, or others. Some may be spent in silence and some sessions will include the Crystal Singing Bowls or Tibetan Singing Bowls.

Consistent practice with a community can assist you in your own personal practice.

You can sit in a chair or on a cushion. Wear what you want so you are comfortable

After the free session, you can decide if you would like to attend each week or drop-in when your schedule permits. Class fee is normally $10. There are 10-class and 5-class passes available which will help to save you money.
